LightBearer is our entry submission for the Epic MegaJam 2025.  We chose to go with a past theme, However vast the darkness we must supply our own light.

LightBearer:

The stars remember. Every world that once knew the light carries its echo.

You are a LightBearer, one of the ancient keepers once called across the galaxy to cleanse the darkness that festers in forgotten colonies. When a settlement loses faith and its people turn inward, corruption seeps into their hearts and the shadows awaken. The beacons that once held the dark at bay flicker, fail, and the world begins to fade.

Now another colony has fallen silent. Its skies have gone black. You have been sent to descend upon its ruins, walk the ashes of its people, and reignite the beacons that once guarded them.

Each beacon you restore pushes back the veil, returning warmth to the soil and light to the sky. But the darkness resists. It hungers. It remembers you.

Cleanse the corruption.  Awaken the five beacons.

Bring back the light.
